Who loves whales? For those whale lovers out there, here are some facts about them. Whales belong to the cetacea order, which includes porpoises, dolphins, and also whales. There are two divisions of whales : baleen and toothed. The baleen whales have a comb-like shape sticking out of their upper jaw which helps them filter out plankton, fish, crustaceans, or any other small animals they eat. Toothed whales have teeth, so they don't need the baleen. The teeth helps them eat their food by chewing on them. Baleen whales are normally larger than toothed whales. Just like bats, whales use echolocation to know their surroundings and whereabouts because they can't see very well.
